I offer group and one-on-one counselling sessions, which often involve an integrated use of several traditional therapies and techniques, including:
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT);
Narrative therapy (NT);
Person-centred therapy (PCT);
Creative art therapy (CAT), and
Motivational interviewing (MI)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
You are encouraged to decide after the first session what you are comfortable with and for how long you would like to see me.
The first session is an introductory session, covering formal requirements such as consent, confidentiality, disclosure obligations, what therapy is and what it is not, and your introduction to me, including who you are and what you are looking to achieve.
Some private insurers will accept counselling appointment fees. Invoices are sent directly to clients with bank transfer details, and receipts are provided.
