My name is Francisco Romero, I am a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist, and mental health practitioner. I am fluent in English and Spanish.

I am a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), and I am accredited to work with NDIS clients throughout Australia.

I am passionate about working with clients from all backgrounds, cultures, religions, and beliefs to make counselling accessible to all, particularly to those with disabilities. I aim to work collaboratively with you to create opportunities and overcome difficulties in your life. This can help you develop the skills for your future goals with self-empowerment and belief.

Our therapy focuses on wellness and adaptation to the stresses of life. I am always keen to learn, listen and understand each person’s unique experiences and history. I am here to guide and support individuals, couples, families, and groups working through personal, social, educational, and/or career-related issues. We should work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes to identify and build on your strengths, develop strategies for dealing with challenges, and create positive changes in your life. As part of this process, I often use a range of therapeutic techniques that are best suited to you.

Depending on what you want to achieve, I can provide information and referrals to other resources and services to help you on your journey to recovery. Our counselling therapy is a process we do together, and while I do not tell you what to do, I am here to support and guide you, with empathy and in a non-judgmental way, into how best you can improve your life.
